Balanced, decisive and refined: Treggiaia is the expression of the perfect cohesion of the two souls of our winery, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Blend: 50% Sangiovese, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon

Vine training system: Spurred cordon and guyot
Vinification: Grapes are manually collected, with double sorting of the bunches in the field and in the cellar. They are then introduced into steel tanks through gravity and vinified at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Here, for a period varying between fifteen to twenty days, the alcoholic fermentation and the maceration of the skins take place, during which are carried out only through gentle punch- downs. After malolactic fermentation in steel, a period of ageing in wood barrels follows.
Maturation and ageing: Cabernet and Sangiovese age separately in barrels of french oak and in 25 hectoliters casks of Slovenian oak for a period of 12 months before to be blended.
Tasting notes: With an intense ruby red color, Treggiaia IGT stands out for its intensity and aromatic richness. A rich aromatic bouquet between ripe red fruits and spices. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon come together to give a complex but fresh wine. An elegant and seductive wine, with silky and soft tannins, of great depth.
