Restored to renewed splendour in 2018, Villa Bibbiani is
surrounded by vineyards and olive groves across almost
400 hectares of iconic Tuscan landscape.
In the heart of Tuscany
Villa Bibbiani lies in the charming town of Capraia e Limite,
beside the River Arno and midway between the historic
cities of Florence and Pisa.
Its privileged position, along one of Italy's most important
rivers and on the southern slopes of the Montalbano hills,
has made the villa a meeting place for cultures, stories and
traditions over the centuries.
The surrounding landscape is rich in history, natural beauty
and an acclaimed winemaking tradition.
A history beginning in 767 AD
The earliest known record of Villa Bibbiani dates to 767 AD,
when Desiderius, King of the Lombards, gave the estate to
the Benedictine monastery of Pistoia as an act of penance.
In later centuries, Villa Bibbiani became home to some of
Tuscany's and Italy's most distinguished families, including
the Medici and Frescobaldi.
During the 19th century, under Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi -
son of Anastasia Frescobaldi - the estate reached the
height of its splendour.

designed bedrooms, including the Ridolfi master suite.
Every room has a private bathroom and wardrobe. Two suites include a private living
room, and one features a private sauna.
