Vinification: Delicious, full-bodied, which combines perfectly with dishes based on game or truffle. Elegant and versatile, Treggiaia accompanies grilled red meats, game dishes, roasts, meat stews and cured cheeses.
Maturation and ageing: Six-month period in French oak barrels followed by six months of in large 25 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels.
Tasting notes: With an intense ruby red color, Treggiaia IGT stands out for its intensity and aromatic richness. A rich aromatic bouquet between ripe red fruits and spices. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon come together to give a complex but fresh wine. An elegant and seductive wine, with silky and soft tannins, of great depth.
