Vinification: It goes well with traditional dishes from the area such as red meat, ribeye and game. A versatile wine, throughout the meal. Excellent with first courses served with meat sauces and soups, such as ribollita. It can also be served as an aperitif with a plate of cold meats and Tuscan cheeses. Pure expression of the coexistence of our land.
Maturation and ageing: Half rests for eight months in 25-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels, a quarter in steel and a quarter in amphora.
Tasting notes: Harmonious, balanced and with a long finish, our Chianti Montalbano DOCG is the most characteristic expression of our area. The wine has a bright red colour and a bouquet of cherry and small red fruits. Soft and enveloping tannins, together with a pleasant freshness, giving great elegance to this typical Tuscan wine.
