Blend: Sangiovese 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 50%
Vineyard: located on the sunny side of the Treggiaia hill, the vineyard is managed with passion, care and attention. Treggiaia is produced with the most selected Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes of the same name vineyard. A loose soil, rich in sandstone and skeleton, capable of conferring perfumes and elegance.

Vine training system: cordon trained
Vinification: the grapes are manually collected, with double sorting of the bunches in the field and in the cellar. They are then introduced into steel tanks through gravity and vinified at a controlled temperature of 25/28°. Here, for a period varying from fifteen to twenty days, the alcoholic fermentation and the maceration of the skins take place, during which are carried out only gentle punch-downs. After malolactic fermentation in steel, a period of ageing in wood follows.
Maturation and ageing: six-month period in French oak barrels followed by six months of in large 25 hectolitre barrels, always made of Slavonian oak.
Tasting notes: A very intense ruby red colour, Treggiaia IGT is distinguished by its intensity and aromatic richness. The bouquet has notes of ripe and spicy red fruit. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon come together to give a bouquet of complex and at the same time fresh aromas. An elegant and seductive wine, with silky and soft tannins that support its depth.
