VILLA BIBBIANI
Nestled among the lush Tuscan hills of Montalbano, the historical Villa Bibbiani estate is surrounded by a magnificent botanical park, meadows, woods, vineyards and olive groves that gently slope down towards the Arno River.
WINE-MAKING TRADITION
Since the beginning, talking about Villa Bibbiani means talking about wine. The first news of the estate “cum pascoli et vignae” dates back to the Middle Ages. Our wine is synthesis of a unique terroir and passion for the vineyards.
our wine
Villa Bibbiani is synonymous with the Montalbano Chianti of superior excellence. In our winery, one of the most avant-garde in Italy, we work with grapes from our estate to produce fine labels that represent the best of the area: the red wines Montereggi, Pulignano and Treggiaia, and the rosé wine Flora.
the VILLA
The estate is dominated by the noble Renaissance villa that in the 19th century, thanks to Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi, experienced a period of maximum splendour. Inside the villa there are magnificent frescoes and fine period furnishings that decorate the large rooms of the building.
BOTANICAL PARK
Villa Bibbiani park is a botanical treasure designed by Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi, who in 1800 also gave impetus to the estate’s winemaking activity. Today you can still admire fascinating Italian gardens and lush grassy and wooded meadows that host thousands of age-old and exotic species.
