The month of January and February are often the coldest period of the year: they represent the heart of the winter season. When the temperatures are low, we need to closely monitor the vines that are resting – we use the weather stations sited among the row of Villa Bibbiani’s grape vines.
This state-of-the-art temperature control system is able to provide real-time data on the humidity level, precipitation, and the solar radiation of the grapes. The most critical moment is when the vine resumes its vegetation cycle – a sudden thermal lowering can ruin the harvest.
