Sangiovese grapes used for our Pulignano IGT come from the oldest vineyard of our estate, located on the homonymous hill, about two hundred meters above sea level. Here, the vineyard grows in the shadow of the Church of San Jacopo da Pulignano, a typical Tuscan parish church, which embodies the whole atmosphere of Montalbano like our wine.

The vines’ age is between thirty and fifty years. They enjoy excellent exposure to the sun and give a great structure to Pulignano wine, which well represents the elegance and finesse of our territory.

On the nose, the notes of ripe fruit, cherry, and violet stand out, in perfect harmony with spicy and slightly toasted hints. On the palate, it is vibrant and enveloping, with soft tannins that enhance the aromas and giving persistence and elegance.
